Delete your data

Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we delete your Auction Key account and the data tied to it. This covers the ERP, Auction Key Access and VIN Intelligence.
What happens next
- You send the request from the email on your account. If you sign in with a username, put it in the message.
- We reply within 7 days to confirm the account is yours.
- We delete the account and its data within 30 days of confirming, and email you when it is done.
What we delete
- Your account: name, email or username, password and settings.
- Your notification tokens.
- For a broker account: its clients, cars, payments, connected auction accounts, buyer logins and session recordings.
- VIN Intelligence lookups and reports tied to the account.
What we keep
We keep billing records, meaning which cars were charged and when, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Server logs and backups are deleted on their normal schedule, within 30 days.
Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your account.
If a broker added you
If you are a buyer or client of a broker, your cars, invoices, payments and session recordings are part of that broker's business records. We delete your login and pass the rest of your request to the broker, who may be required to keep some records.
